Section 7.2.3, exponential family. Equation 7.44 describes a special case of the exponential family with T(x)=x. The result does not hold when T(x) is a nonlinear function of x, as in the case of a Gaussian distribution with non-unit variance. (The Gaussian with non-unit variance but equal variances across classes is a special case.)
Section 8.1 (p. 4). "we will also make use of Eq. (8.72)" -> "we will also make use of Eq. (8.3)"
Equation 8.6. eta should be equal to *log* pi/1-pi
Equation 8.25. The normalization constant has been omitted.
Section 8.1.4 (p. 11). "we have absorbed the constant of proportionality Z in one of the potential functions". Z has to be absorbed into psi_1
Section 10.1, second paragraph. "untypical" -> "atypical" (?)
Chapter 10, equation (10.7) should have the conditioning between x and \mu, not between \mu and \Sigma
Section 10.2 has numerous typos, including several erroneous figure references.
Section 12.8.1 (p. 14). The sufficient statistic n_ij should be defined as a sum from t=0 to T, rather than from t=0 to T-1.
I was not able to obtain Equation 14.26 from Equation 14.25
The J in equation 15.83 should be an L.
